How many treatments are required?
A course of 3-4 treatments is recommended with treatments being performed every 4-6 weeks. The total amount of treatments needed will always be discussed with your skin therapist and customised treatment plan will be tailored to you and your skin's condition.
You may expect to see some gradual improvement to the skin's quality and appearance over the next 2 weeks post treatment. It is important to note that the treatment provides continual results over a period of time due to its ability to provide skin regeneration in its elastin and collagen production. Therefore, client's may expect to continue to see results over the next 6-12 months after their end of their treatment course.
Expected Downtime?
You may experience mild to minimal redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising which can be common side effects however should fade within a couple days. In some instances, client's may notice small dots from where the microneedles have been, these will start to fade within a couple of days. To help speed up the healing process booking in for an LED is recommended post treatment.
It is important that post treatment instructions are followed to ensure correct healing and optimal results. You will be provided this information prior to your appointment with some key post care instructions including:
- Avoidance of direct sun exposure over the next 2 weeks
- Avoidance of any heat induced activities over the next 72hours
- Keeping the treatment area clean and applying SPF and moisturiser daily
- No mechanical or physical exfoliation in the treatment area over the next 2 weeks

Treatment Preparation
Prior to receiving the Morpheus8 treatment the skin will be prepared for the treatment. Client's may have topical anaesthetic applied to the skin. The treatment is generally well-received, and the level of discomfort during the treatment is minimal.
